Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, won nine local government areas while Atiku Abubakar,
candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, also won nine local government areas

 Results of the remaining three local government areas are being awaited 

 The presidential collation centre in Yola has received the presidential election results from 18 out of the 21 local government areas of Adamawa, with the APC and PDP each winning in nine council areas. 

 The collation officers of the 18 local government areas announced the results in Yola before the returning officer and Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Gashua, Yobe state, Professor Andrew Yakubu, NAN reports.

Armed thugs invaded Ogbomoso polling unit at Oke Ola Farm Settlement, Unit Four of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, and carted away thumb-printed ballot papers in all the units in the area. Olamide Adewale, who made a distress call said, “Hoodlums armed to the teeth just invaded unit 4A in Oke Ola farm settlement here in Ogbomoso South local government and forcefully ferried away all the ballot boxes en route Ogbomoso/Oyo road. They went in Oyo direction,” he said. Reports also revealed that the ballot boxes at Ward 3 Unit 3 in Ibadan Northwest were snatched in the presence of security agents around 2pm.
