Serena Williams An ailing Serena Williams knockout  with a viral illness from  her third-round WTA match at Indian Wells on Sunday (March 10) while trailing Garbine Muguruza 6-3, 1-0 in a battle of former world No. 1s. Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, was seeded 10th as she continues to work her way back up the rankings after taking time off to have a baby. Williams won the first three games of the match but called for the trainer after losing six straight to the Spaniard. After a long talk with the trainer, she took the court for the second set, but called it a day after Muguruza held in the opening game. Williams and Muguruza were meeting for the sixth time. The three-time world champion and 2016 Rio Olympic runner-up in team pursuit,  American cyclist Kelly Catlin  has died at age 23, USA Cycling confirmed on Sunday. The cyclist who was part of the US team pursuit squads that captured world titles in 2016, 2017 and 2018 but she withdrew from the American team that failed to defend the title Feb 27-28 at the 2019 worlds in Poland. "The US cycling community suffered a devastating loss with the passing of Kelly Catlin," USA Cycling president Rob DeMartini said in a statement. Woman Attack By Jaguar In Zoo While Taking Selfie

  A woman has been attacked by a jaguar after "crossing over a barrier to get a photo" at a safari park in Arizona. Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park said the unnamed victim suffered non-life threatening injuries to her hand from a female jaguar. US media reports the woman was trying to take a selfie near the fence of the enclosure when the big cat reached out and grabbed her arm. A witness said he heard the woman "screaming for help" and describe pulling her away from the big cat. Adam Wilkerson, who posted a video of the incident on Reddit, described it as "pandemonium". In his post, he said he was visiting the park near Phoenix with his family when he heard a young woman "screaming for help" and saw that her hand was up against the enclosure fence, in the grasp of the jaguar's claws.
