Nengi In Tears Has Ozo Slam Eviction

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate, Nengi, on Sunday, broke down in tears as Ozo was evicted from the reality show. He was evicted after scoring the lowest votes in the house. He is the second of the four nominated housemates to be evicted in the 9th week of the show. Ozo’s eviction was announced during the live show on Sunday by the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who said at least one or more of the nominated housemates will be evicted. Ozo and Trikytee were, however, the two housemates to be evicted while Laycon and Dorathy were declared safe.

Kano State Reopen Private And Public Schools

Kano State on Sunday reopened its private and public boarding secondary schools. Day schools will open on Monday, Commissioner of Education, Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru, disclosed on Sunday. The Commission said the schools reopening are those with students sitting for the National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). He said the schools have been fumigated and decontaminated to check the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. “In further compliance with the COVID-19 protocols for ensuring safety and protection of our teaching staff and students, we have also provided PPEs to the schools across the State. “As I speak with you, I am on my way to inspect one of the boarding schools to ensure everything is well prepared,” he said.

BREAKING: EDO Has Finally Decide

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and of course the current governor of Edo state winner of the states gubernatorial election. Obaseki achieved the feat after amassing massive votes . Recall that he had his final campaign rally in Benin City, said that with the support of Edo people and the endorsements by over 100 groups in the state, he was certain of victory. After collating results of eighteen local governments in the state, INEC announced Obaseki winner of September, 19, 2020 governorship election. INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh, announced the total result of the election.

Eddie Murphy Bag His First Emmy Award

Legendary humour merchant, Eddie Murphy, is in an ecstatic mood as he just bagged his first Emmy Award in his career. This year’s nomination was Eddie Murphy’s first in 21 years. People.com reports that on Saturday, the 59-year-old comedian was crowned the winner for his role as Saturday Night Live host. This was the fifth Emmys nomination and first win for Murphy, who was nominated alongside Fred Willard (Modern Family), Adam Driver (Saturday Night Live), Dev Patel (Modern Love), Brad Pitt (Saturday Night Live) and Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel). While receiving the award, the actor said, “Thank you to everybody at the Emmys. Thank you so much for giving me an Emmy. I don’t have an Emmy. This is 40 years since I started Saturday Night Live, this is my first Emmy, so thank you so much. I want to thank Lorne Michaels for putting this whole thing together and making this happen.
