Nigerian Emerge As Outstanding Student In Beijing

A Nigerian emerged the most outstanding student of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) Beijing in China.  Student identified as a Nigerian, Peter Eze has was awarded during the convocation ceremony which held on June 25 - The remarkable student is said to have worked as an aide to Senator Orji Uzo Kalu. The award winner, who bagged a master's degree in public administration was honoured during the ceremony has made himself, family and country proud after emerging as the most outstanding student of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) Beijing in China.  While speaking to The Cable, Eze expressed appreciation to God for the feat while also thanking Kalu, his boss, for his support. The school which he graduated from, UIBE, founded in 1951, is one of China’s top ranking universities with economics, management, law, literature and science.

Prof. Itse Sagay Prof. Itse Sagay warn Senate President Ahmad Lawan to stop misleading Nigerians that nothing like "Jumbo Pay" senators earned N15m monthly and not N750,000 on Tuesday Ordinary members of the National Assembly don’t earn as much as presiding officers, Prof said. Senate President Ahmad Lawan has been asked by the chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), to stop misleading Nigerians, adding that senators earned N15m monthly and not N750,000 as claimed by the former. According to Sagay, Nigerians were more interested in how much senators take home monthly in salaries and allowances, The Nation reports.
