Prince Eheneden Crown As The 39th Oba Of Benin Kingdom

Prince E heneden Erediauwa, the  Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom as the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom and  70th ruler in the Ogiso dynasty,   on Thursday at the Usama Palace ground. Erediauwa is ascending the 836-year-old throne of his ancestors which is the oldest and one of the most revered in Nigeria Prince was crowned by the Usama N’ Ihiron also known as the Edion led by Chief Oliha. The crowning was done privately inside the Usama Palace, a temporary building erected for the coronation ceremony. The coronation ceremony was performed in the inner chambers,  He had been crowned in the early hours of the day, about 2.00am  and came out of the Usama Palace at about 1.00pm. OGUN State Workers Embark On An Indefinite Strike

The Ogun state workers have commence an indefinite strike to press home their demands over on unpaid deductions salary in the state. Alongside other demands, the industrial action is also target at putting an end to the contributory pension scheme which is one of the Bureau of State Pensions (BSP) responsibilities. When Channels Television visited the state government secretariat at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital, it was The Secretary of the state Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa revealed that some workers ready to work while others relinquish their duty post. According to the Secretary to the State Government, he portray the action as illegal and uncalled for, saying that the government may bring up a ‘no work, no pay’ system as a punishment for the action.
