West Ham Set To Replace Slaven Bilic With Moyes

West Ham sacked manager Slaven Bilic on Monday after inferior performances that left the club in the League relegation zone with 9points in 11matches. The club confirmed that Slaven Bilic has today left his position with the club,” the Hammers said in a statement on their website. The Club set to appoint David Moyes on an initial six-month contract and hand him the responsibility of hauling them away from relegation danger after finally losing faith in Slaven Bilic’s ability to reverse the team’s decline. The club hierarchy “believe a change is now necessary in order for the club to move forward positively and in line with their ambition”, the statement added.  

Prince Of Saudi Die In Helicopter Crash

A Saudi prince was killed on Sunday when a helicopter with several officials on board crashed near the kingdom’s southern border with war-torn Yemen, state television said. The news channel Al-Ekhbariya announced the death of Prince Mansour bin Moqren, the deputy governor of Asir province and son of a former crown prince. It did not reveal the cause of the crash or the fate of the other officials aboard the aircraft.

CAN Deplore Buhari's Anti-graft In Nigeria

The Christian Association of Nigeria President, Dr. Samson Ayokunle, described President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption as ineffective and one-sided movement. Ayokunle, stated this in an interview with journalists at the 12th convocation of Bowen University, Iwo in Osun State on Saturday, however, commended  the Buhari administration for identifying corruption as a major problem that must be tackled. According to Samson,  The president must beam the searchlight on members of his cabinet and his party men if he wanted to be taken seriously in his war against graft. We need to caution the President in particular that the fight against corruption may not be too far away from around him. Those hands that are not right around him, he should be courageous enough to deal with them.

Officials Give Manchester City Helping Hands. Says Arsene Wenger

Arsenal boss believes the officials gave Manchester City an helping hands during his 3-1 defeat at Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Arsene Wenger slammed Manchester City's Raheem Sterling for "diving" and gave a scathing assessment of the standard of officiating in the Premier League, claiming it "drops every season" . Arsenal felt aggrieved by the awarding of a second-half penalty, with Nacho Monreal penalised for bringing down Sterling. City's third goal frustrated Arsenal even more, as David Silva teed up Gabriel Jesus for an easy finish despite the Spaniard appearing to stray offside in the build-up. "I felt it was an intense game, quality on both sides," he told Sky Sports. "Of course, Man City are on a high, but I felt we had plenty of dangerous situations and chances and I would say overall, once again, the referee made the decisions today with a soft penalty and an offside goal.
