U.S. Lunch First Nation's Ballistic Missile

The United State military carry out a  nation’s ballistic missile test to exercise the ground-based mid-course defense element on Tuesday . The launching of the missile was scheduled to occur between 3p.m. and 7p.m. According to  Pentagon Spokesman, Navy Capt. Jeff Davis t he U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the U.S. Air Force’s 30th Space Wing and U.S. Northern Command are conducting the test. Panama`s Dictactor Manuel Antonio Die 83years

The former Panama’s  dictator Manuel Antonio Noriega died in Panama City late Monday, physically diminished after decades of imprisonment for crimes committed during his 1983-1989 rule. The 83years old, passed away in Panama City’s public Santo Tomas hospital where he had been recovering from early March surgery to remove brain tumor, and a subsequent operation to clean up cerebral bleeding. The government communications secretary Manuel Dominguez the announcement of his death. Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela wrote on Twitter that Noriega’s death “closed a chapter in our history.” He said the ex-strongman’s family “deserved to bury him in peace.” Noriega had been serving lengthy prison sentences in Panama for murder and forced disappearances during his dictatorship, the former dictator had been granted temporary release on February 28 from his prison overlooking the Panama Canal to undergo surgery. Two Feared Dead In Three Storey Building In Lagos

Building collapse in Lagos,has two people feared dead on Monday from the incident at No. 9 Daddy Alaja Street, Oke Arin, Idumota area of Lagos Island, while other 14 survivors sustained serious injuries. The bodies of the deceased had since been deposited at the Lagos Island Hospital mortuary, while the 14 persons who were rescued were treated at the emergency unit of the hospital before they were allowed to go home.  Prior to the collapse, the 17-man crew were working at the site of the three-storey building that was undergoing reconstruction, when the ground floor suddenly gave way, burying the workers underneath the structure.  One of the workers, 38-year-old Taiwo Omilani, who narrowly escaped death as he had just stepped out to buy some necessities when the building collapsed. The President Muhammadu Buhari will be given the right of first refusal for the party’s presidential ticket in the 2019 election. The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, vocalize this Monday in Abuja while addressing the media on the midterm scorecard of the APC-led administration, insisting that Buhari had performed well. According to him, the party’s midterm convention and it would have to wait until the president returns from his medical leave in London, explaining that it was such an important activity of the party that the president should not miss. Dangote Group To Revitalize Food With $1bn In The Country

The Dangote Group has imparted his plans on rice cultivation in five states to revitalise food self-sufficiency in the country by investing $1bn. Speaking at the just concluded 2017 Gateway Trade Fair, which held on Monday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a director of the Dangote Group, Mr. Tunde Mabogunje, stated, “We have been contributing our quota to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy. Towards aiding agriculture, we are building a fertilizer plant in the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos State. “When completed, farmers will have regular access to fertilizer for their farming activities. The delays and disruptions experienced in waiting for imported fertilizer will cease. “We are investing about $1bn in rice cultivation. We have an out-growers scheme where thousands of farmers are empowered with improved seeds and items needed to cultivate rice.”
