Over Four Thousand Motorcycles Bind in Lagos State

Lagos State have seized over 4000 commercial motorcycles for disobedience of State Traffic Law 2012 which will lead to the crushing and recycling. The Commissioner of police, Fatia Owoseni recently declared this yesterday when having an interview with reporters   at the Olusosun Refuse Dumpsite in Ojota that the clampdown on Okada was a fall out of the government’s renewed resolve to address the security issues since criminals operate mostly with okada He said that the state traffic law prohibits Okada and tricycles also known as Keke Marwa from operating in 495 of the 9200 roads and routes across the state, which Lekki and Victoria Island axis confined. He said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has oreder the police and other security agencies to engros in solid operation to enable the law erect. The Commissioner said: “It would not be one-off.
