Nigeria hip-pop artist Peter Okoye, one half of former music duo P-Square has signed a partnership deal with Empire, an American distribution company and record label based in San Francisco, California, USA.



Peter who is now know as ‘Mr. P’, shared the news on his Instagram page. He wrote: “Thank you Lord Repost By @empire: “Just had a digital distribution deal with @peterpsquare! The official Empire page also made a post “Welcome to the #EMPIRE family @peterpsquare! Thank you for @kingkanja for the introduction & partnership!”. The record label has worked with artistes like Kendrick Lamar, Rich Homie Quan, Cam’ron, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, Tyga, Migos, Remy Ma amongst others. 

Paul, who is the other half of P-Square and also the twin brother of Mr. P called it quit few weeks back with a video of them and brother/ group manager, Jude Okoye in a fight making rounds on social media.

Thugs Invade Ogbomoso Polling Unit

Armed thugs invaded Ogbomoso polling unit at Oke Ola Farm Settlement, Unit Four of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, and carted away thumb-printed ballot papers in all the units in the area. Olamide Adewale, who made a distress call said, “Hoodlums armed to the teeth just invaded unit 4A in Oke Ola farm settlement here in Ogbomoso South local government and forcefully ferried away all the ballot boxes en route Ogbomoso/Oyo road. They went in Oyo direction,” he said. Reports also revealed that the ballot boxes at Ward 3 Unit 3 in Ibadan Northwest were snatched in the presence of security agents around 2pm.
