Osun APC Aspirant Chief Ademola Adeleke Move TO PDP For Senatorial Election

An All Progressives Congress aspirant in the Osun-West senatorial district, Chief Ademola Adeleke, may move to the Peoples Democratic Party to contest
the July 8 senatorial by-election.
A chieftain of the PDP, who pleaded anonymity, said this while speaking with pressman on the telephone, on Tuesday.
The PDP chieftain said Adeleke would contest on the platform of the opposition party.
He said, “We have been talking to our leaders and members on this. We want to win this election and we know that he is popular. Adeleke will contest on the platform of the PDP.
“The APC has decided to clear Mudashiru Hussain despite his disqualification and the Adeleke group is aware that the APC primary would be manipulated to favour Hussain.”

Armed thugs invaded Ogbomoso polling unit at Oke Ola Farm Settlement, Unit Four of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, and carted away thumb-printed ballot papers in all the units in the area. Olamide Adewale, who made a distress call said, “Hoodlums armed to the teeth just invaded unit 4A in Oke Ola farm settlement here in Ogbomoso South local government and forcefully ferried away all the ballot boxes en route Ogbomoso/Oyo road. They went in Oyo direction,” he said. Reports also revealed that the ballot boxes at Ward 3 Unit 3 in Ibadan Northwest were snatched in the presence of security agents around 2pm.
