Acting President Grant Lagos State Permit On Murtal International Airport Road

The Nigeria Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo grant the Lagos State Government permission to begin on the reconstruction of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road.
According to a press release issued and signed by the Secretary to
the Lagos State Government, Mr Tunji Bello, yesterday the State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, applaud the gesture and the Acting President for his statesman like approach to issues and for fast tracking the process.



However the state government has currently design 10 lanes to come from Oshodi to the International Airport with interchange and flyover that would drop you towards the Local Airport.
Lagos State has also guarantee that once the approval give, immediate construction of the Airport Road within two weeks and finish same within a period of six months. And Ambode equally gave kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for providing the enabling environment to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the nation.

Thugs Invade Ogbomoso Polling Unit

Armed thugs invaded Ogbomoso polling unit at Oke Ola Farm Settlement, Unit Four of Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State, and carted away thumb-printed ballot papers in all the units in the area. Olamide Adewale, who made a distress call said, “Hoodlums armed to the teeth just invaded unit 4A in Oke Ola farm settlement here in Ogbomoso South local government and forcefully ferried away all the ballot boxes en route Ogbomoso/Oyo road. They went in Oyo direction,” he said. Reports also revealed that the ballot boxes at Ward 3 Unit 3 in Ibadan Northwest were snatched in the presence of security agents around 2pm.
