Ighalo On China Move

Image
The Nigerian  international striker, Odion Ighalo has complete his medical ahead of his proposed £20million move to Chinese side, Changchun Yatai. The 27-year-old has had reservations about the move which has prompted late calls from Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion. Watford manager Walter Mazzarri admitted Ighalo’s departure was imminent on Monday night, saying: ‘Every morning, I ask the club what the situation is, and negotiations are now at an advanced stage, so it should only be a matter of a couple of days.’ Meanwhile, Enyimba striker Ezekiel Bassey has secured a loan move to the B-team of FC Barcelona for the rest of the season, according to the Spanish club. The deal has a clause of an outright purchase of two years for the 20-year-old forward who underwent medical tests in Barcelona yesterday. Financial terms of the deal completed on deadline day remain undisclosed.

No Issuing Of 2years America Visa To Nigerians

Image
Except the federal government takes a proactive visa policy review, Nigerians will no longer be issued with American entry visas which have two-year validity following the Executive Order signed on Friday by President Donald Trump.   Also, Nigerians who hold dual nationality will be affected if their other passport is from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen - the seven Muslim-majority countries “of concern”.   A lot of attention has been on the temporary visa ban on citizens of the seven Muslim-majority countries, but the impact on Nigerians is far more than previously thought.   An analysis of the Executive Order by editors of the online news platform shows that at least two sections will affect Nigerians directly.   Nigeria currently only issues one-year multiple-entry visa to Americans, which is a non-reciprocation of the two-year visa the country issues to Nigerians.   Section 9 of the Executive Order states: “ The Sec...

"Its Sinful For Fellowman To Kill a Creation Of God" Apostle Suleiman.

The Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide founder, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has decried an alleged attempt to arrest him by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and said he was yet to understand why they came for him in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital. Apostle Suleiman, who reacted to the development in an interview with newsmen in Ado Ekiti, on Wednesday, said he was yet to receive any official invitation from the DSS nor had he been contacted by the outfit since the visit to his hotel early on Wednesday morning. He denied the allegations that he charged Christians to attack and kill Muslims, saying his contention in the controversial killing of Christians in parts of the country was misrepresented by media reports. He also denied the alleged security report leading to his attempted arrest on Tuesday that he instructed during a preaching that the Christians should go after Muslims. Sulaiman clarified that what he stated was that there was the need for Christi...

America President Give Order On Mexico Border

Image
President Donald Trump on Wednesday ordered work to begin on planning and building a wall on the Mexican border, sounding a hardline tone on immigration as he moved to fulfill a key campaign pledge. The US leader instructed officials to begin to "plan, design and construct a physical wall along the southern border" and -- perhaps more problematically -- see how it could be funded. "A nation without borders is not a nation," Trump said, echoing former president Ronald Reagan, as he visited the Department of Homeland Security to sign two executive orders. "Beginning today, the United States of America gets back control of its borders," the Republican president said. Stemming immigration was a central plank of Trump's election campaign. His signature policy prescription was to build a wall across the 2,000-mile (3,200-kilometer) border between the United States and Mexico

End Of Road For Novak Djokovic

Image
A deflated Novak Djokovic defended himself against accusations of lacking motivation after his stunning second-round elimination by Uzbek wildcard Denis Istomin. The former world No 1 fell victim to one of the greatest shocks in Grand Slam history as Istomin condemned the Serb to his earliest exit at a major in nearly a decade 7-6 (10-8) 5-7 2-6 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 on Rod Laver Arena. After winning four slams in a row between 2015 and 2016, Djokovic has now gone three without adding to his 12 major triumphs, raising more questions about his ability to stay at the top after dominating tennis for the last six years. Djokovic denied there was any hangover lingering from his breakthrough French Open victory last June, and the underwhelming second half of last season which ensued Asked if his long-awaited victory at Roland Garros had taken the edge off his hunger, Djokovic said: “I don’t know. I mean, it’s not a time now to go so deep into it.
